Our Story: Inspired by Family, Built for Communities

Playmo started as a personal mission for our founder, Samruddhi. Watching her young nephew and niece grow, she realised how deeply children thrive when given the freedom to play, learn, and explore in a nurturing environment. But she also saw how difficult it was for parents to find such spaces—places close to home that are safe and engaging.

Playmo began as an innovative on-demand playdate service, connecting children with fun and educational play experiences, and the response from parents was overwhelmingly positive. Over time, with successful playdates for over 200 children and invaluable feedback, we gained insights into what parents truly need.

This response led to the transformation of that initial idea into PlayHubs—community-centred spaces where children can learn and grow through play, and where mothers can find meaningful work closer to home. Our hope and vision is that Playmo will make a real impact in neighbourhoods across India, bringing high-quality, child-led learning to families everywhere and improving the lives of kids and parents alike.

We take pride in the consistent quality of our PlayHubs. Each hub undergoes regular quality checks to ensure that the environment remains safe, engaging, and conducive to learning. Here’s how we maintain our high standards:

• CCTV Monitoring: Safety is our top priority. Every PlayHub is equipped with CCTV cameras, ensuring that your child is safe at all times. The cameras are active during play hours, giving you peace of mind.
  

• Trained Play Leaders: Our play leaders are not just supervisors—they are trained facilitators of play who guide children through activities and observe their progress. They also communicate with parents regularly, so every parent gets updates online on how their child is doing.
  

• Regular Quality Checks: We regularly inspect our hubs to ensure they meet our rigorous safety and educational standards, providing a secure and enriching environment for your child.

A Curriculum That Sparks Growth and Joy

At the heart of every PlayHub is our carefully crafted, activity-based, and theme-based curriculum. Developed by child development experts and psychologists, our curriculum is designed to make learning an adventure. Each session is packed with activities that focus on the 5Cs: collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, and computational thinking.

• Themed Learning: Every two weeks, our PlayHubs follow a new theme, whether it’s India’s cultural heritage, seasons, or festivals. This thematic approach helps children connect with the world around them in a meaningful and engaging way.
  

• Activity-Based Approach: From art and craft to problem-solving games, our activities are designed to stimulate different aspects of a child’s development. We ensure that learning is always fun and dynamic.

Empowering Entrepreneur Moms

Playmo is not just about creating great experiences for children—it’s also about empowering mothers in our communities. We provide all the resources necessary for entrepreneur moms to successfully run their PlayHubs, including:

• Comprehensive Training: We equip our host moms with the knowledge and skills they need to facilitate engaging play sessions and manage their hubs effectively.

• Curriculum and Resources: From activity kits to detailed lesson plans, we provide everything needed to ensure that each PlayHub offers a high-quality learning experience.

• Ongoing Support: Our team is always on hand to provide guidance, support, and resources to help our entrepreneur moms succeed.
